The "North loop" has gotten more big time maintenance. The ongoing leveling/erosion control program has been extended down to campsites 39-41. Eytcheson Unlimited was hired to bring in boulders up to 4' high, put them into place and then add the fill and topsoil needed to bring the sites up to level. Trees that were becoming dangerous were removed and some beautiful 16' maples were brought in to replace them. The sites were seeded and were just starting to turn green when these photos were taken. In addition, campsites 35-38A, 49 and 50 were shut down after labor day to rest and be re-seeded so they'll be ready once again for the 2010 camping season.

Construction has been completed on 5 new full hook-up campsites. They are located a short ways away from the "frog pond dock" so they will have easy access to the lake but are in a nice and peaceful area since they are on a "loop" of their own. They are planned to be rented on a monthly basis.

We also built 12 new seasonal sites by the wood shed.
